50 años de cambios de usos en el LIC Sierra de Cabrejas (Soria)

Abstract

En este trabajo se analiza la evolución de la ocupación del suelo del Lugar de Importancia Comunitaria Sabinares de la Sierra de Cabrejas en Soria. Se comparan los usos del suelo en 1956, 1984 y 2005. Salvo la superficie cultivada y nuevos usos como repoblaciones y truferas, las áreas de los diferentes hábitats se muestran estables. Sin embargo, hay una reorganización importante del espacio. La superficie ocupada por el arbolado aumenta, pero se debe exclusivamente a reforestaciones y truferas, no al aumento de la regeneración natural. El escaso cambio en la cabida cubierta de los sabinares sugiere que las cortas han sido frecuentes en este tipo de bosque.
