Catalizador para la eliminación de óxidos de nitrógeno en presencia de oxígeno

Abstract

El objeto de la presente invención es preparar un catalizador que permita la descomposición y/o reducción de los NOx, presente en los gases provenientes de cámaras de combustión como los tubos de escape de coches, plantas industriales, etc., sin empleo de amoniaco como agente reductor y manteniendo una elevada actividad en presencia de importantes cantidades de oxígeno. Para ello, se empleará un catalizador que permita la descomposición y/o reducción de los óxidos de nitrógeno, compuesto por una zeolita con una relación molar SiO2/Al2O3 mayor de 15 conteniendo iones cobre, cobalto, platino, paladio u otros metales de transición.
