Abstract

En la presente memoria se describe un procedimiento para preparar un catalizador que contiene zeolita, y que mejora la actividad y selectividad a destilados medios, disminuyendo la producción de gas seco y coque. El catalizador se prepara modificando la zeolita con una disolución acuosa de ácido fosfórico. Como zeolita se prefiere una USY Zeolita, que ha sido parcialmente desaluminizada por un tratamiento previo de calcinación-vapor, y en la que el tratamiento con H3PO4 se lleva a cabo en solución acuosa conteniendo entre 0,5 y 4 por ciento en peso de H3PO4 con respecto a la zeolita. La zeolita modificada se combina con el precursor de la matriz y se atomiza para darle la forma y el tamaño adecuado para su uso en unidades de FCC. El catalizador es útil para el craqueo de gasoil, así como de alimentaciones más pesadas.
