Abstract

Intento de dar a conocer a Francisco Hernández a públicos más amplios, intentando interesar en su andadura personal e intelectual y estimular a acudir a lo que los especialistas han escrito y continuarán escribiendo sobre él; porque, como se podrá ver, aún queda bastante por resolver acerca de la vida de nuestro protagonista y de la dilatada influencia que ejerció su obra, especialmente la dedicada a la Historia natural de Nueva España.
