[ES] Se propone una metodología, basada en el concepto de sede web como unidad documental básica de análisis, para extraer datos del web con el objetivo de que puedan ser empleados en la obtención de resultados en estudios cibermétricos. Las etapas de la metodología propuesta son las siguientes: identificación; selección y recogida de sedes web; codificación descriptiva de las sedes; cuantificación automatizada, recogida de datos y posterior volcado a la base de datos; así como el mantenimiento de la base de datos.
[EN] In this paper an "institutional web site" concept-based methodology is purposed. The "Institutional web site" concept can be used in web mining in order to achieve results for cybermetric studies. The stages of this methodology are as follows: identification, selection and institutional web sites collection; description of coding web sites; automated quantification, data collecting and database storing; and database maintenance and updating.
