[EN] Nanostructured metal colloids have been largely employed in SERS (Surface-enhanced Raman Scattering) spectroscopy due to the special optic and electrochemistry properties of these materials. However, this fact contrast with the relative unknowing of certain phenomena in which these colloids may be involved such as the aggregation to fractal aggragates as well as the possible interactions which can take place on thesurface, which strongly depend on the preparation method followed to obtain the nanoparticles. In this article the last investigations carried out in our group to elucidate all these questions are reported.
