El Tetraevangelio Escorial y.III.7: un ejemplo de la influencia de la pintura de iconos en la ilustración de códices de época paleóloga

El Escorial y.III.7, un tetraevangelio del año 1302, es obra de un escriba que se sirve de una grafía artificiosa muy particular. El códice fue restaurado y recibió la inserción de las miniaturas de los evangelistas, ilustraciones que, de un modo notable, incorporan a la decororación de un manuscrito la iconografía de los iconos contemporáneos.
