Abstract

[EN] An analysis of the impact evolution of the journal Bulletin of the Spanish Ceramic and Glass Society has attempted. The results of an inquiry between Spanish Glass and Ceramic Society, SECV, members as well readers and author have been took into account. The profile of the received inquiries reveals that the user of the journal is mainly a ceramic and glass professional devoted to R+D that published scientific papers. This interest was compared with the data obtained from SCI. The increase of the impact facto of the SECV journal is related to a high relatedness index and a short cited half-life. Both factor point out that the scientific nature of the journal is limited to a small community restricted by the language.
