Abstract

[ES] Con esta tesina se pretende cubrir dos objetivos: uno de índole estrictamente arqueológica, referido al material y al registro arqueológico del Barranco del Paso, en donde se pretende iniciar una línea de investigación orientada a la comprensión de una sociedad que pobló hace 1,7 millones de años, partiendo del estudio, del material lítico y su asociación con la fauna. El segundo objetivo es analizar el contexto concreto de la producción arqueológica, tratando de demostrar cómo el caso de Orce no es comprensible sin conocer el contexto de crisis que vive el paradigma tradicional de ´conquista´ de Europa.

Tesis de licenciatura dirigida por Felipe Criado Boado. Defensa realizada en el Departamento de Historia I de la Universidad de Santiago de Compostela.
