Activismo en diez mandamientos

Abstract

Con el objeto de repensar, tensionar y cuestionar las relaciones entre arte y política, este documento adoptó la forma irónica de un decálogo, aludiendo al carácter prescriptivo que habitualmente se atribuye al pensamiento sobre el activismo artístico. De esta manera, sus diez puntos no son descripciones autocontenidas, sino que el conjunto se articula transversalmente mediante ciertos ritornelos. En sus repeticiones y matices, el decálogo pretende producir lecturas que activen experiencias tan diversas comoel Siluetazo, las acciones de colectivos como CAPATACO, Cucaño y el Taller de Investigaciones Teatrales, las muestras y manifestaciones llevadas a cabo por los fotorreporteros durante la última dictadura, la gestación de espacios como el ParaKultural y el Café Einsten en Argentina; a las intervenciones del grupo CADA o del colectivo Mujeres por la Vida, los clips informativos clandestinos de Teleanálisis; la movida punk representada por grupos como Pinochet Boys y Ángeles Negros en Chile; a las presentaciones de Ney Matogrosso y la feria Arte ao aire livre del grupo Manga Rosa en Brasil; a las acciones de TAFOS, la exposición Por el derecho a la vida y la creación del Teatro del Sol en Perú; a la publicación de la revista GEL en Colombia, a la presentación de la Agenda del No – Grupo, y el trabajo del dúo Polvo de Gallina Negra en México; a la profusa red de Arte Correo que recorrió varios países latinoamericanos planteando la posibilidad de un cuerpo político que eludiera las barreras del aparato represivo. Este mero recuento de los casos de estudio que comprende nuestro proyecto de investigación coral impulsado por la Red Conceptualismos del Sur, da cuenta de cómo la categoría "activismo artístico" tiene una función instrumental como paraguas conceptual problemático, que nos sirve en tanto y en cuanto permite trazar transversalidades; nunca como una conceptualización prescriptiva.
