Abstract

A los 101 años, el 13 de julio del 2003 falleció en Valencia (España) el doctor Juan José Barcia Goyanes, catedrático de Anatomía y Psiquiatra y pionero de la neurocirugía en España, reconocido internacionalmente por su Onomatologia anatomica nova (Valencia: Universidad de Valencia; 1978-1990), monumental historia del lenguaje anatómico y una de las más importantes obras en el campo de la terminología médica, fruto de más de treinta años de riguroso trabajo.
