Abstract

En la actualidad, el pulpo común (O. vulgaris) sigue siendo la especie de cefalópodo más demandada para el consumo humano. A pesar de los avances de su cría en cautividad en los últimos años, el principal obstáculo para su producción comercial es la elevada mortalidad de las paralarvas antes de que lleguen a la fase de asentamiento. Sin embargo, las mejoras realizadas en el cultivo de paralarvas en el marco del proyecto coordinado OCTOMICs (AGL2017-89475-C2) han logrado obtener por primera vez ejemplares hasta la fase de pre-asentamiento, con niveles de crecimiento y supervivencia muy satisfactorios, permitiendo investigar los procesos biológicos, a nivel molecular y bioquímico, que regulan las etapas tempranas en esta especie bajo condiciones de cultivo. Objetivo: Identificar y seleccionar proteínas (biomarcadores) relacionadas con las principales rutas metabólicas en los primeros estadios de desarrollo del pulpo. Este estudio analiza el proteoma de embriones (EMB) y de paralarvas (PL) de 0 a 40 días después de la eclosión (dph), bajo condiciones óptimas de cultivo
