Abstract

La palabra geijo es utilizada para denominar el cuarzo lechoso en el oeste de Zamora y León. Este elemento geológico nos permite introducir una serie de actividades didácticas que nos adentran en el contexto geológico del lugar donde vivimos y nos permite realizar un rescate de toponimia y de léxico geológico local. [EN] The word geijo refers to milky quartz west of Zamora and León. This geological element allows us to introduce a series of didactic activities that take us into the geological context of our locality and will enable us to rescue toponymy and the local geological lexicon.
