Abstract

[EN]: We have carried out a polinical based on six samples taken Sector 1 or tne Cerro del Tesoro archaeological site (Zalamea de La Serena, Badajoz). This analysis has enabled to reconstruct the landscape and the agricultura1 activities of this settlement dated in the early times of the Roman presence in the region. This landscape is characterized by its openness and high degree of human impact, where the dehesa would share space with open cultivated formations (cereals, peas and olives) and livestock. These data have enabled us to answer questions about the role played by this kind of settlements.
