[CA] En aquest article, la nostra aproximació al folklore resulta molt propera a les definicions que l’han presentat en el seu sentit més genuí, sense les «marques» o característiques amb les quals se l’han adornat en el passat. Així doncs, actualment es pot dir que, per a la seva gestació, allò que és rural i urbà, el que és antic i modern, l’oralitat i l’escriptura s’apropen i s’allunyen gairebé de forma contínua en els nous espais de la globalització. I, gairebé sense que es noti, el folklore s’escampa per les autopistes de la informació, cavalca en silenci per invisibles xarxes, s’aixopluga de la tempesta del «llogaret fantasma» que la globalitat ha construït.
[EN] Our approach to folklore here lies in the line of straight-forward definitions, lacking the «marks» or characteristics with which it was adorned in the past. We can thus say that today orality and writing, the rural and the urban, the ancient and the modern, go through almost continual encounters and missed encounters within the new spaces of globalization. Nowadays, folklore propagates itself, almost unnoticed, throughout the information superhighway, silently galloping over invisible networks, taking cover under the shelter of the «phantom-villages” that globalization itself has built
