Abstract

[ES] Con el desarrollo de las ciudades y el éxodo de la población rural a las zonas urbanas, comenzó hace siglos un fenómeno de búsqueda de la naturaleza y retorno al mundo rural que, desde entonces, ha acompañado al ser humano. En este retorno, además de razones prácticas y económicas, influye sin duda un aspecto psicológico: volver al campo es un sueño perseguido, un anhelo de reencontrarse con los lugares y tiempos de nuestra infancia. Así pues, la memoria juega un papel fundamental en este fenómeno de regreso al mundo rural que, en algunos países de Occidente, se está convirtiendo en una práctica bastante común. Por ello, las dinámicas de redistribución poblacional, observadas desde una perspectiva multidisciplinar, pueden dar respuesta a las grandes cuestiones planteadas por las ciencias sociales

[EN] Centuries ago, the development of cities and the exodus of the rural population to urban areas brought about the phenomenon of the search for nature and return to the rural world which, since then, has accompanied human beings. This return, as well as for practical and economic reasons, is undoubtedly prompted by a psychological aspect: returning to the countryside is the dream pursued, a yearning to reencounter the places and times of our childhood. Thus, memory plays a fundamental role in this phenomenon of return to the rural world which, in some Western countries, is becoming quite a common practice. Hence, the dynamics of population redistribution, observed from a multidisciplinary perspective, can provide an answer to the major questions put forward by the social sciences
