As ferramentas xenómicas teñen un enorme potencial para mellorar a monitorización das especies explotadas, a biodiversidade ecosistémica e os cambios provocados polo cambio climático. A súa implementación na avaliación e xestión pesqueira pode desempeñar un papel clave para garantir a sustentabilidade das poboacións e o futuro do sector pesqueiro
