Reversible K-ion intercalation in CrSe2 cathodes for potassium-ion batteries: combined operando PXRD and DFT studies

Abstract

CrSe2 shows a nearly theoretical capacity of 125 mA h g−1 at 0.1C, making it a promising K-ion battery cathode material. In operando PXRD and DFT studies reveal its intercalation mechanism.
