Abstract

La máxima intensidad de puesta de Mugil cephalus en el Mediterráneo tiene lugar en los meses de otoño, según SANZO (1936). Durante la campaña MARCA I realizada en el mes de octubre del año 1982, que abarcó la zona del Mar Catalán comprendida entre Palamós y Sitges, se capturaron huevos y larvas pertenecientes a dicha especie, lo que nos ha permitido el estudio de la distribución y abundancia de la puesta en este período, así como su relación con los distintos parámetros ambientales
