Abstract

[FR] Dans ce travail on présente et commente les données physiques de la croisière CARON 82 qui a couvert avec !'analyse en continu de surface et profils CTD, une bande parallèle à la côte Catalane de 50 milles de large, en hiver 1982. Le principal resultat a été la découverte d'une zone assez large de formation d'Eau Profonde à 20 milles de la côte, limitée au Sud par le parallel 41°25'N

[EN] In this paper are presented and discussed physical data from the cruise CARON 82 which covered by continuous surface analysis and CTD casts, a strip 50 miles wide along the northern part of Catalan coast in winter 1982. The most relevant finding was a big area of Deep Water formation 20 miles off the shore, limited in the South by the 41°25'N parallel.
