[EN] Larval behaviour patterns of this species have been studied in situ and under experimental conditions Larval emissions occurs in the Costa Brava from august to september. Larvae have a short period of free life and prove to be unselctive to the nature and orientation of the substrate: they settle on any type of rough surfaces. No response to light gradients has been observed; but during lhe first hours of free life, larvae display a negative geotaxis which is changed into a positive one at the pre-settlement time. The aquiferous syslem begins to develop 5 days after the attachment of the larvae and the rhagon structure is completed in 7 days
