Mayo: los hierros del tiempo presentes y pasados

Abstract

El calendario no es una tabla en blanco; no hay nada nuevo bajo el sol. Desde la Edad Media, la noche del 30 de abril al 1 de mayo es mágica y está llena de peligros; por eso está llena de escenificaciones de la lucha entre el bien y el mal. Cuanto se hace en esos momentos es un auténtico exorcismo. Cada ideología, cada institución, ha tratado de perpetuarse y domesticar el tiempo poniendo su hierro sobre los momentos más oportunos del ciclo anual.
