[EN] The behaviour during the first year growth, of the peach Hale's Early grafted of Myrobalan B with Brompton as an intermediate is described. For comparison the combinations Hale's Early/Myrobalan B, Brompton/Myrobalan B, Myrobalan B/Brompton and Hale's Early/Myrobalan B/Brompton were also studied.
Se describen los síntomas de incompatibilidad observados, llegando a la conclusión de que la presencia de Brompton como intermediario no evita la incompatibilidad existente entre Melocotonero y Mirobolán.
La combinación Precoz de Hale/Mirobolán B/Brompton también mostró síntomas claros de incompatibilidad. Las combinaciones Brompton/Mirobolán B y su recíproca se mostraron compatibles.
External and internal symptoms of incompatibility are drescribed and it is concluded that a Brompton intermediate does not avoid the incompatibility between Peach and Myrobalan.
Hale's Early/Myrobalan B/Brompton showed distinct symptoms of incompatibility. The combinations Brompton/Myrobalan B and Myrobalan B/Brompton were compatible.
