En tiempo de Julio César, los emperadores utilizaban y manipulaban el calendario, moviendo, sacando y poniendo fiestas y fechas, a su antojo y según sus intereses. Los políticos de hoy adelantan o atrasan elecciones, promulgan leyes favorables a los ciudadanos para capear situaciones sociales o políticas adversas. Los políticos pretenden hacer del futuro un pasado adelantándose a él y convertir así en propicio para sus intereses el tiempo nefasto de las crisis. Hoy, como ayer, el ser humano ha soñado con manipular el tiempo a su antojo, ignorando su inexorable enigmaticidad.
