Abstract

[EN] During three years (1985-1987) we carried out the study of the cynipid gallmakers and inquiline fauna from The Sierra of Guadarrama and adjacent areas, in Central Spain. We have found 87 species; two of them have been described separately as new for science; four species are recorded for the first time from the Iberian Peninsula and 56 represent the first published datum for the area of study. For all the species data are given on geographical distribution, life-cycles, host plants and galls. With respect to host plants, gall-makers species are distributed as follows: 46 species are associated to Fagaceae (Quercus); 5 to Rosaceae; 8 to Compositae; 3 to Papaveraceae and 1 to Labiatae.
