[EN] The clay fractions of soils studied have in common variable amounts of kaolinite and illite. There are also: a) Transformations of illite - aluminium hydroxy vermiculite - secondary chlorite, in soils formed from granites or metamorphic shales in the wet Piedrahlta zonc. In these soils gibbsite also appears: this mineral is found in high proportions in profile XXIX, b) Montmorillonite-chlorite intergradc minerals and halloysite - kaolinite evolution occur in soils developed an granodiorites, both in the wet and dry Piedrahlta zones. In profde XXVI. heloneine to the Vitieudino zonc. also formed from eranodiorites (with lower DH than the other two), there aren't montmorillonite-rhlorite but illite - Al-hydroxy vermiculite:. c,) motmorillonite and montmorillonite-chlorite intererade minerals. in soils formed from shales with amphibolites or shales with micacites in the Piedrahlta and Vitigudino zones respectively.
