Possíveis contribuições das epistemologias feministas para o ensino de ciências

Abstract

O presente artigo tem como objetivo trazer uma revisão da literatura a respeito de algumas construções das pesquisadoras feministas na busca de uma nova epistemologia para a ciência; um segundo objetivo é traçar uma relação desses construtos com o ensino de ciências. Neste sentido, são enumeradas as questões que algumas feministas fizeram sobre a forma de fazer ciência e o que pauta a nova epistemologia feminista da ciência, que objetiva abarcar os anseios dos movimentos sociais na busca de uma sociedade mais igualitária, desconstruindo as relações de poder construídas culturalmente e legitimadas pela ciência. Mudanças na forma de trabalhar o gênero nas escolas e no ensino de ciências são aconselháveis; para isso traçamos algumas diretrizes para a aplicação de políticas públicas que fomentem o ensino baseado em conceitos dessas novas epistemologias, apontando algumas possibilidades de aplicação e comentando algum exemplo dessas mudanças recentes no ensino de ciências no Brasil.
