Abstract

[EN] In the present article the variation of particulate organic carbon (POC) and chlorophyll concentrations along Galician coast (north-west of Spain) have been studied in basis of Galician IV cruise data (October 1977). The highest values of POC are about 20 µM. In accordance with POC values three zones are distinguished: the Rías Bajas (the richest zone), the transition zone between ACNA and ACGV and the Rías Altas. POC and chlorophyll are lineraly correlated along the Galician coast
