Abstract

[EN] Influence of cutting frequency on growth, yielding, and rate production, applied at 10, 15, 20 and 30 days intervals, has been studied in six cultivares (two per species) of Trifolium repens, Trifolium pratense and Medicago sativa. Independently of plants persistence, major productions were attained at 15 days intervals for Trifolium repens BARBIAN, at 20 days intervals for Trifolium repens MERIT LADINO and Trifolium pratense JOKIOINEN, and at 30 days intervals for Trifolim pratense ODENWALDER, Medicago sativa ARAGON and Medicago sativa NOMAD. Likewise, maximum medium rates (relative and absolute) of production are logically reached in the already mentioned plane at the cutting frequencies pointed out above.
