[EN] Modifications caused by wood on the edaphic ruhstrate are studied. Four sampling plots, two with holm-oak tree and the other two with oak tree, have been considered for comparative purposes. There is spatial coincidence between a holm-oak tree plot and an oak tree one. The sampling taken at three length from the tree trunk and to N and S ways allows for the following aspects related with the change of the various physic and chemical soil variables: o) Variations in the intensity of wood influencie. b) Variations between N-S orientations. c) Differences depending on the tree species.
