[ES] En este artículo se exponen los resultados de la excavación de un solar situado junto a la arteria principal de la Murcia islámica. En el sector occidental se hallaron dos viviendas andalusíes, situadas al fondo del solar, mientras que a la calle pública se abrían dos tiendas, configurando así la típica disposición urbana de los zocos. De ambas casas se documentaron diferentes fases constructivas que ilustran la evolución de este tipo de arquitectura desde época califal hasta después de la conquista cristiana.
[EN] This article contains the results of the archaeological excavation of a site near the main street of islamic Murcia. In the rear sector of the site’s western area two andalusian houses were found and two shops that face to the public street, following the typical urban organization of the islamic markets. It was possible to record several constructive stages of the houses, that show the evolution of this architectural type from the caliphal period up to some centuries after the christian conquest.
