[EN] Based on the equations proposed to estimate the atmospheric drying power, we have determined its influence on the atmospheric evaporation from water surfaces. The results from these calculations have been compared with the exprimental data obtained in a class A pan evaporimeter. Variation of the relative humidity is proposed as a meteoroiogical index, in order to explain the different values of the correlation coefficients.
