Abstract

[ENG]The nitrification capacity of 20 different soils has been tested by means of an incubation method. The amount of available nitrate in those soils varied within a range of 26,0 - 404,6 ppm. The correlation between the nitrate made available and the total soil nitrogen content is given (r = 0,79). Also, the correlation between the nitrogen vans formed after a 15 days incubation period end the total nitrate produced al the end of the experiment was obtained (r = 0,72).

[ESP]Se estudia la capacidad de nitrificación de 20 suelos diferentes, según un método de incubación. La cantidad de nitratos suministrados por dichos suelos varia de unos a otros entre cantidades de 26,0 y 404,6 ppm.
