[EN]: Using an applied geomorphological cartographic method, the terrain of the Huércal-Overa basin and the eastern part of the Sierra de Las Estancias is classified. several homogeneous terrain units, defined by basic physical (geological-geomorphological) parameters, were diferentiated based on field observations and aerospace imagery interpretation (LANDSAT TM, SPOT and aerial photographs).
