[ENG] The physical characteristics of soils from three zones of Centre-western Spain are described. Each zone, uniform is respect of thermal and topographic conditions, is analyzed by parameters such as temperature. rainfall and ETP respectively. The soils are preferently dedicated to cereal and strawberry crops at the plateau and «sierra» respectively. The porosity, water permeability, water retention capacity, hydric reserve and hydric balance are determined for each soil. Significant differences are obtained this depending of the texture of the soil studied and its location.
