Determinación de variedades polinizadoras de cerezo "Garrafal Napoleón" (G. de Monzón)

Abstract

[EN] The cherry variety "Napoleon" is practically self-incompatible (8,5% fruit-setting). This variety needs and adecuate pollinator for satisfactory cropping. In the area studied (El Frasno, near Saragossa), "Ramon Oliva" variety has proved to be good pollinator for "Napoleon" (set of fruit 60,25%). Successful pollination has been also obtained with "Tigré" and "Castañera" varieties (fruit-setting percentage: 53,4 and 45,3 respectively). "Lampé" seems cross-incompatible with "Napoleon" and may be included in the same incompatibility group.
