Se analizan las principales anomalías de la precipitación de primavera y verano en el sur de la provincia de Alicante, reconstruidas mediante técnicas endroclimáticas. Su análisis permite destacar una alternancia de periodos secos (1598-1651, 1671-1687 y 1764-1781) y húmedos (1650-1670 y 1688-1739) de desigual duración e intensidad. A partir del siglo XIX las anomalías de uno y otro sentido son más cortas, aunque su intensidad es similar.
