Germinación de los cuerpos hifales (esporangios) de Pythium spiculum, patógeno radical de la encina y el alcornoque

Abstract

Pythium spiculum, un nuevo patógeno de Quercus descrito recientemente, se aísla frecuentemente de raíces y rizosfera de encinas y alcornoques afectados de podredumbre radical en toda la mitad sur de España, asociado al decaimiento de los Quercus. En el último año este patógeno también se ha asociado al decaimiento de las manchas de alcornocal presentes en el Parque Nacional de Doñana.

2 páginas, 4 fotografías, 1 tabla. Panel presentado al XV Congreso Nacional de la Sociedad Española de Fitopatología. Vitoria, 27.09.2010-01.10.2010. El Congreso ha dado lugar posteriormente a la publicación de un libro. El citado trabajo se encuentra publicado en el Capítulo: Paneles de Sesión Simultánea II: Epidemiología.
