Estudio del efecto reforzante a alta temperatura de los elementos aleantes de la aleación 6061Al de colada mediante el método de diferencia de tensiones

Abstract

El método de diferencia de tensiones ha sido útil para determinar el efecto reforzante en el comportamiento en fluencia de diferentes elementos de la microestructura de aleaciones y materiales compuestos de matriz metálica [1- 4]. Así, se ha podido establecer tanto el mecanismo específico introducido por las partículas de alúmina en una aleación 6061Al obtenida por pulvimetalurgia [1] como el de las partículas cerámicas de SiC en un material compuesto 6061Al- 15vol%SiCw [2]. Un aspecto fundamental de este método radica en la necesidad de disponer de datos de fluencia tanto del material a estudiar como del material de referencia sin los elementos microestructurales reforzantes. En este trabajo, se utiliza este método para profundizar en el efecto reforzante introducido por los aleantes (que forman precipitados que evolucionan durante los ensayos de fluencia) de la aleación 6061Al de colada respecto aluminio puro. Se encuentra que esta diferencia de tensiones depende de la tensión aplicada.
