Estimadores de consanguinidad en la raza Avileña-Negra Ibérica

Abstract

El control del incremento de la consanguinidad es clave en una población porque, además de afectar a la variabilidad existente, puede generar depresión consanguínea. Para mantener este control, es necesario tener una estima adecuada del coeficiente de consanguinidad. Tradicionalmente, la estima de la consanguinidad se ha realizado a partir de la información de pedigrí, proporcionando un valor esperado, si bien, actualmente, con el incremento de la información genómica, se puede hacer uso de ésta información para su estima, con la que se obtiene el valor realizado. Para el cálculo de la consanguinidad realizada existen varios métodos (ver Villanueva et al., 2021), y no existe un consenso sobre cuál de ellos proporciona la mejor medida (Villanueva et al., 2021). El objetivo de este trabajo es comparar las distintas medidas de consanguinidad en la población.
