Historia, clave de detenninación y distribución del género Iberobathynella (Crustacea; Syncarida; Parabathynellidae) en la Península Ibérica.

[ES] Realizamos una breve histor~a de los trabajos que sobre batinelas se han llevado a cabo en la Península Ibérica. Se expone la situación actual del género Iberobathynella, y se ha elaborado una clave de determinación con dibujos propios. En forma de tabla se dan las diferencias entre las 2 familias del orden Bathynellacea. Por último se ofrece la distribución del género Iberobathynella en nuestra Península.

[EN] In this paper we present a brief history of the research works carried out on" Parabathynellidae of the Iberian Peninsula. The actual"situation pf the genus Iberobathynella is revised and an illustrated key is provided. The differences between the two families of the order Bathynellacea are given in atable. Finally it is shown the distribution of the genus Iberobathynella in the Iberian Peninsula.
