[EN]Different sedimentary bodies placed of the right bank of the Guadalquivir River in the neighbour-hood of its mouth, have been identified. Subscenes in bands 4 y 7 were selected from a TM image taken in August 1991. These images were subjected to pro- cesses of contrast, spatial and/or spectral enhancement, always looking for the most suitable methodology for differentiating the geomorphological units. The information extraction obtained with image processing has been compared with other conventional methodologies.
