Problemática en la elaboración de un fondo paremiológico

Abstract

El 23 de marzo de 1995 se establecían las bases de una colaboración entre la revista Paremia y la Biblioteca General de Humanidades del CSIC, para estudiar el fondo paremiológico existente en los catálogos CIRBIC (Catálogos informatizados de la Red de bibliotecas del CSIC) con el doble objetivo de ofrecer una herramienta de búsqueda adecuada al usuario y difundir esta colección a la colectividad científica interesada en el estudio de las paremias. El fruto del trabajo realizado conjuntamente, el Fondo paremiológico del CSIC, se presentó en el I Congreso Internacional de Paremiología (Madrid, 1996) en soporte informático. En el II Congreso se presenta éste artículo para abordar la problemática encontrada en su elaboración. Se analiza la estructura de los “encabezamientos de materia“ y la pertinencia de utilizar los términos Paremia, Paremiología y Paremiografía como “encabezamientos” para facilitar la localización de las obras de esa materia en los catálogos bibliográficos.
