[EN] This work aims to charter the relation between philosophy and literature in José Ortega y Gasset’s work. Due to his multiple interests, it is not rare to find literary references (among others) interwoven in Ortega’s philosophical discourse. Moreover, it can be said that Ortega developed a literary theory based on his philosophical interests, making distinctions, analyzing and linking several areas of the humanities. It is certainly useful a work where these analogies and differences are mapped and pinpointed, but it should be noted that the definition of these links and the rôle that literature played in Ortega’s thought remain untouched in this paper, waiting for further analysis.
