Abstract

Dans l'Italie de la fin du siècle, récits et chroniques, abondent en évènements surnaturels et désastreux (crues, tremblements de terre, pestes famines, guerres, etc...) apparus dans ce pays au cours des années 1490. Je m'intéresse plutôt à la façon dont le "morbus gallicus" fut perçu et aux réactions qu'il entraina à Ferrare au cours des cinq années qui suivirent son apparition (1496-1500).
