[EN] The invention relates to a method of obtaining ferrite-zirconia composite materials. The inventive method consists in preparing dense materials comprising a soft ferrite matrix with a second dispersed phase of zirconia particles, at a concentration of between 0.5 and 50 % by volume, by liquid process. The materials thus obtained with a second phase of polycrystalline tetragonal zirconia stabilised with Y2O3 are characterised in that the mechanical properties thereof (resistance to deformation and/or modulus of rupture) can be up to 100 % greater than those of the ferrite material forming the matrix. If the material obtained has a second phase of polycrystalline zirconia stabilised with CaO, said material is characterised in that it has a maximum magnetic permeability of less than 6 %, with a temperature variation in the range of -40ºC to 100ºC and up to a field value of 30 % of the saturation.
