Method and catalysts for the epoxidation of olefinic compounds in the presence of oxygen.

Abstract

[EN]The invention relates to a method for the epoxidation of an olefinic compound, which is characterised in that it comprises an oxidation reaction of at least one olefinic compound containing one or more double bonds C=C with oxygen in the presence of one or more reaction initiating agents, at least one catalyst containing at least one metal that is selected from a noble metal, a transition metal and mixtures of same, and at least one hydrocarbon that is selected from one or more branched alkanes, one or more alkyl cyclic or cyclic hydrocarbons, one or more alkyl aromatic or aromatic compounds and mixtures of same.
