Se presentan los primeros registros para Colombia de S. durissima Spruce ex Bentham, S. guianensis (Aublet) Bentham, S. laevigata D. A. Smith y S. Laxiflora Spruce ex Bentham, S. macrophylla Bentham ex Turczaninow, con observaciones taxonómicas, ecológicas y su estado de conservación.
