[EN] The invention relates to a novel method for producing novel nanostructured and orientable optical means mainly used for producing or modifying optical waveguides and for modifying a reflection factor produced by irradiating a substrate with ultra-low-dose particles. Said invention makes it possible to produce waveguides by increasing a reflective index and reducing a production time by the factor of the order of 100, optical waveguides having a high-step reflective index and a high confining power by reducing the production time by the factor of 1,000-10,000. Said invention also makes it possible to produce novel optical means useful for optical waveguide sensors and optical memories.
