[EN] The invention relates to a kaolinite-type laminated nanomaterial which is different from hitherto-known natural and synthetic kaolinite-type materials in that it has a greater Fe content incorporated in the structure thereof. The inventive laminated materials are of interest in the catalysis of redox reactions (i.e. organic synthesis, degradation of organic contaminants), as well as in applications derived from the ferromagnetic character thereof. In addition, said materials are of interest for traditional applications involving clay minerals in the pharmaceutical industry (supports, antacids, stomach protectors) since the standard use thereof is combined with the provision of iron. The invention is intended for specialists for whom many other possible applications will be apparent.
